Your files

Every tool runs inside your web browser. When you add a PDF or image, it is read and processed on your own device. Your files are never uploaded to us or anyone else, so we cannot see, store, copy or share them. They stay in your browser's memory only while the page is open and are gone when you close or reload it.

Data we do process

• Technical data when you visit the site. Like every website, our hosting provider receives your IP address, browser type, the page you request and the time. This is needed to deliver the site and to protect it against abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (article 6(1)(f) GDPR). These server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider and then deleted.
• Visitor statistics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which tools are used. It sets no cookies, doesn't build a profile of you and doesn't follow you across other websites. We only see totals. Legal basis: legitimate interest in improving the site.
• Email. If you email us, we use your email address and message to reply. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering you. We delete the conversation when it's no longer needed, at the latest 12 months after our last contact.

We don't sell personal data, and we don't use it for advertising profiles or automated decisions.

Cookies and local storage

PDFsip does not use tracking or advertising cookies. To let the site work offline, your browser stores the website's own code (not your documents) on your device. This is strictly necessary for that feature, so it doesn't require consent. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Service providers

• Vercel Inc. hosts the website and processes the technical data described above.
• Cloudflare, Inc. provides the cookie-free visitor statistics, if enabled.
• Our email provider receives and delivers messages sent to hello@pdfsip.com.

Some of these companies are based in the United States. Transfers are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To use these rights, email hello@pdfsip.com. We respond within one month.

You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
